FEASIBILITY BASELINE · FOR OWNERS

See how your landactually performs.

The Feasibility Baseline measures what your land holds today, on a test site with our team on the ground and data from satellites. It gives you a validated starting point for carbon, biodiversity and the other values in your land, and for land you plan to buy, a go or no go.

Ask for a Baseline See what it covers

One study.Two starting points.

Your current sites

  • Your plots mapped and checked against the records and maps you already have
  • Carbon in trees and soil, and biodiversity, measured on the test site
  • Field checks of sampled plots
  • Forest loss since 31 December 2020, plot outlines and land documents
  • The data you already hold, brought together on one map

Land you plan to buy

  • Soil: quality, carbon and a plan for sampling
  • Climate: rainfall, drought, wind and storm exposure
  • Terrain and water: slopes, water sources and flood risk
  • Forest loss after 31 December 2020: land you could not sell into the EU
  • Protected areas, indigenous territories and red flags on land tenure

Soil lab tests and legal title checks are done with local partners.

Measured on the ground. Not only seen from space.

We choose a test site that represents your land. Our field team measures it and checks what satellites cannot see, and the measurements are linked to the satellite record of the whole site. That is what turns an estimate into a baseline you can build on.

A baseline for each site. And a clear next step.

A baseline

Carbon, biodiversity and the other values of each site, measured and documented.

A go or no go

For land you plan to buy, each candidate site ranked against your own criteria.

A report

The findings, the risks and our recommendation for what to do next.

The baseline is the starting point for monitoring if you go on to our ongoing service.

From first datato a validated baseline.

  1. 1

We sign an NDA and you share your data.

  2. 2

We plan the test site with you.

  3. 3

Our team measures on the ground.

  4. 4

You get the baseline, the go or no go and the report.

On average, a baseline takes 12 months.

A Scoreboard shows what a site can do.A Baseline shows what it does.

If you are still choosing between many sites, a Feasibility Scoreboard compares them from a distance. When you know which land matters, the Baseline measures it on the ground. Each is a separate product with its own fee.

One fee.Fixed scope.

The fee follows the hectares, the number of sites and the field work needed. You know the scope and the cost before we start.
